We’re pleased to announce that Sarah Quick, Associate Vice President, Safety & Compliance, US, has been named a Top Woman to Watch in Transportation for 2024 by the Women in Trucking Association. This list recognizes women who are achieving significant accomplishments in their work and empowering other women in transportation.

 

Sarah has played a critical role in enhancing the safety culture at Day & Ross both on and off the road and empowering the women she leads. Her focus extends beyond employee health and safety, incorporating a customer-centric perspective that has enhanced her team’s effectiveness in supporting the launch of new customer business. She strategically considers cost, effectiveness, and business strategy alignment, making her a valuable member of our leadership team supporting our continued growth across the US. 

 

Over the past year, Sarah has revamped our driver safety onboarding and introduced a 10-point assessment to enhance competency and identify training opportunities. Sarah’s tenacity and collaborative leadership have helped drive important policy changes, onboarding improvements, and a reduction in incident costs.
